Dive into AGAVOID's latest track, "White Noise." Inspired by the pulsating beats of 80's EBM and the avant-garde spirit of new wave, AGAVOID catapults these influences into the contemporary era. Swapping out traditional bass guitar for motoric-patterned synth bass, and infusing mellow synths with sharp melodies, the track delivers a visceral sonic experience. Lyrics paint a vivid picture of urban life, capturing the raw essence of crowded city streets. "White Noise" is a bold exploration of modernity, inviting listeners to immerse themselves in its brutalist charm.
AGAVOID began playing together in the summer of 2015. They operate as a trio comprising a singer, keyboardist, and bass player/producer, based in Budapest, Hungary. Their music combines dream pop with trip-hop and electronica, pushing genre boundaries and experimenting with bold sounds. They draw inspiration from eclectic sources, employing unconventional electronic rhythms and sample-based soundscapes. Their live performances feature ethereal vocals with visually evocative lyrics, complemented by live bass and keys.
